Family and community connections

We believe family participation in our kindergarten is vital in achieving the best outcomes for children. Our educators:

School readiness funding

Our kindergarten receives funding from the Department of Education to employ an additional educator to offer higher than standard child to educator ratios in every group.

We also receive 30 allied health sessions to support families and educators in areas of speech, psychology and occupational therapy.

This funding allows us to offer a book gifting program to help children develop a lifelong love of reading.

Languages

Families who have English as a second language are supported with translated materials, learning kits to use at home with their children and access to interpreters. We run an Auslan program once a week with a certified Auslan teacher.
