What is Vacation Care?

Vacation Care is a comprehensive childcare service offering flexible care options for children aged 5-12 during school holidays. Our vacation care offers a blend of fun and educational childcare activities. With a focus on fostering social connections, learning, and community, our educators ensure a memorable and enriching experience for every child.

Nutrition

We teach healthy eating and general wellbeing habits across all of our vacation care services. At many of our services, children take an active role in their food preparation through tending to fruit, vegetable and herb gardens. Many of our early learning services prepare meals on site. Food safety and accommodating dietary and cultural requirements is important to us.

Environment

Through a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, we celebrate the natural environment and where possible use sustainable materials in our early learning centres, providing fun, stimulating and educational experiences for your child.

Our educators

Our educators are passionate about offering programs that foster social connections, confidence, community spirit and a sense of belonging for all children. To ensure the best outcomes for your child, our early learning staff have a minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent. Our educators are trained in various programs to support the mental health of your child and are skilled in working with children who have experienced challenges and trauma. As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children and police checks.
