What is Before and After School Care?
Before and after school care provides children with extended learning, fun, and leisure experiences. Led by our passionate educators, your child will have the opportunity to enjoy time with their peers and participate in a wide range of educational and recreational activities.
Our Before and After School Care program is the ideal choice for families with a full schedule. While you get to business, your child gets the best opportunity for fun, leisure and recreational experiences.

Our programs
At Uniting ELC, all of our childcare programs are intended to inspire a love of learning, to create a sense of confidence and encourage an appreciation for community. With before and after school care programs, your child will be cared for in a fun, educational and nurturing environment.
Our before and after school care curriculum includes:

Our Before and After School Care centres are conveniently located in, or close to, your local primary school, long day care or community centre.

Some families using Uniting ELC’S Before and After School Care service may be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy. To find out more about the subsidy and if you are eligible, please get in touch with us today.
Before and After School Care is for primary school aged children at the schools they are enrolled in. Outside of school hours care provides busy and working families with flexible care options.
While exact care hours will depend on the specific location, Before and After School Care operates in morning and afternoon slots, Monday through to Friday. Most Before School Care is between 7am to the beginning of school. After School Care usually begins from the end of school, 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Nutritious snacks and afternoon tea can be provided as part of Uniting ELC’s Before and Afternoon Care. For more information on the food provided and to discuss dietary requirements, please contact the Before and After School location directly.
