Kindergarten Teacher & Service Coordinator

Clare

Hi, I’m Clare and I’ve been the Service Coordinator and a teacher at Enid Rogers Uniting Kindergarten for 21 years. I have also worked part-time as a Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Australian Catholic University.

I have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies as well as a Master’s in Education and am currently undertaking my PhD in Education. I have been passionate about early learning from a young age – to enable all children to have a positive start to their educational journey.

At Enid Rogers Kindergarten, our core value is around our relationships and connection. You are welcomed as much as your child.  We believe that children need to be supported in developing their social and emotions skills just as much as in developing their academic skills.

We believe that a child’s family is their number one educator and together we can give your child the best start to their early education.

Health and wellbeing

Mental health

Our educators are trained in various programs to support the mental health of your child and are skilled in working with children who have experienced challenges and trauma. We also offer mental health support for families if you find yourself in need of assistance.

Nutrition

At a time when your child is forming new habits, we will guide them towards making healthy choices. We encourage children to take an active role in their food preparation and work closely with families to guide them towards making nutritious choices for their children. At our kindergarten we enjoy cooking experiences around healthy eating and nutrition.

Safe environment

As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focussed on delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
