Service Director

Emily

Howdy, howdy, howdy! My name is Emily, and I’m the Service Director at Scots Early Learning. I started my career in Early Childhood Education and Care as a Certificate 3 Trainee about 10 years ago. My goal when I first started in this industry was to make a
positive impact on children’s lives.

Through creating a foundation of trust within my team and building exceptional relationships based on empathy and respect, together we build a service that fosters an
atmosphere that encourages children to explore, create and develop a love for learning.

At Scots, we’re committed to embracing diversity. All children, regardless of their
background, abilities, or circumstances, should have access to high quality learning
experiences. Through inclusive practices, we ensure that every child is given equal opportunities to participate, contribute, and grow. We actively seek to remove barriers to learning, whether through adapting resources or supporting individual learning needs.

We look forward to welcoming you to our service.

Health and wellbeing

Mental health

Our educators are trained in various programs to support the mental health of your child and are skilled in working with children who have experienced challenges and trauma. We also offer mental health support for families if you find yourself in need of assistance.

Nutrition

We teach the importance of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. Your child will help grow fruit and vegetables in our garden. Our food is prepared onsite from local ingredients so your child can enjoy a healthy, balanced diet full of variety and flavour. We also cater for all dietary needs, including cultural dietary requirements. The children are taught about the importance of food safety.

Safe environment

As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focused on delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
