Uniting Early Learning has successfully tendered to take up the management of 6 services in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
This follows the decision by Knox City Council to stop running stand-alone kindergartens and appoint specialist providers to run these services in their Council buildings.
From Term 1, 2025, Uniting will operate:
- Cooinda Children and Family Centre, Boronia
- Flamingo Children and Family Centre, Wantirna
- Murrindal Children and Family Centre, Rowville
- Scoresby West Children and Family Centre, Scoresby
- The Basin Children and Family Centre, The Basin
- Wattleview Children and Family Centre, Ferntree Gully.
Knox City Council will continue to manage registrations, providing an easy way for families to register their child without having to contact multiple kindergartens. All enrolments for 2025 will remain in place.
We’re excited to expand our early learning presence in Knox and look forward to partnering with staff and families in the lead up to the transfer of these services with the Council.
