Located on Volga Street in Hadfield, our kindergarten service will nurture your child to explore, discover and learn through hands-on activities guided by our experienced educators.
We offer play-based activities tailored to your child’s interests and needs in an environment that will build their sense of belonging, resilience, kindness and teamwork.
Specialist support is available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, children living with disabilities, those unable to live at home and other children experiencing risk or vulnerability.
Your child will enjoy hands-on, nature-based activities in our large indoor and outdoor areas. Our kindergarten features:

Service Leader/Early Childhood Teacher
Hi, I’m Emilia, the Service Leader and ECT at HE Kane. I have a Bachelor of Education- Early Childhood and Primary and have worked in the sector for over 17 years.
I began working in long daycare before moving to Early Childhood and Primary school education.
I am passionate about early learning because it establishes lifelong learning for children. I enjoy learning and seeing things through children’s eyes with curiosity and amazement. Childhood is a wonderful time to make discoveries and learn about the world and I’m grateful to be able to be a part of that with each child who attends H.E. Kane.
Working alongside families, the children’s first teachers, ensures we build a partnership to best support the children. I believe their growth is best achieved when it is fun and play-based in an environment where each child knows they are valued and important.
The team at H.E. Kane is a wonderful, supportive bunch of educators who want the best for each child, each family and for their team. At H.E. Kane we work together and strive for the best, each and every day.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Uniting educators support the positive mental health and wellbeing of children and their families. Our program includes mindfulness, meditation and caring for self and others.
Healthy eating and good nutrition are key for early childhood development. Our educators work hard to create positive eating environments, which reflect cultural and family values, dietary requirements and give your child the energy they need to be their best selves. We support families to provide nutritious lunch box foods and work with our local supermarket to offer children nutritious snacks throughout the day.
As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focussed on delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
