Glassford Street Kindergarten provides a vibrant and safe environment for children to learn and grow.

Glassford Street Uniting Kindergarten provides vibrant and beautiful playground which includes a bush tucker garden, nature play under established gumtrees, a mud kitchen and sandpit allowing all abilities access with a jetty and wooden boat. Providing the opportunity for the children to explore, problem solve, investigate, socialise with peers and educators.

To showcase our facility we have created a 3-D Virtual Tour with a dollhouse view and a highlight reel.


Children develop confidence and make friends in our vibrant kindergarten environment. They learn about relationships, caring for the environment, how to share and play together, and discover the wonderful world around them with hands-on experiences that nurture their sense of adventure and creativity.

Health and wellbeing

Engaging in nature play helps children to achieve self-regulation, calming, negotiation, imagination, inquiry. turn taking and acknowledging boundaries and routines.

The Smiles for miles program support that children and families to make healthy food choices with key messages Drink Well, Eat Well, Clean Well.

Cooking with produce from our kinder garden, sharing healthy recipes and offering children a fresh fruit platter at the beginning of each session provides nutritional food choices promoting health and wellbeing.

Children learn about responsibility and sustainability by growing their own fruit and vegetables in our kindergarten garden.

Family and community

Join in on the fun! Parents and families are encouraged to get involved with activities and excursions at Glassford Kindergarten. Children delight in having their family members participate in events or simply volunteering their time to help in the garden, read to them, or talk to the other students about their job or hobbies.

Special services

Our educators have the skills to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children. They are experienced in working with children who live with a range of physical and intellectual disability as well as those who have experienced challenges and trauma.
