Early learning in Stratford.

Located opposite Stratford Station, our kindergarten has educated and cared for local children since 1970.
Our educators teach children the importance of care and respect for others, reflecting the values of our local community.
We encourage your child to follow their curiosity, explore and discover the world around them through hands-on, nature-based activities

Kindergarten Teacher

Nina Adams
Hi, I’m Nina and I’ve the Director/Kindergarten Teacher at Stratford Uniting Kindergarten for over ten years. I’ve worked in early learning for over 20 years and hold a Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood. I also have a Diploma in Community and Children’s Services and a Certificate III in Language and Literacy Teacher’s Aid. As an Early Childhood Teacher I get great joy watching children grow and develop; forming their own personalities and identities is rewarding. I enjoy sharing children’s achievements with families throughout their time at kindergarten. At Stratford Kinder, our team helps children develop their confidence and independence. We provide a stimulating environment where children develop the skills they need for learning and lay the foundations for their future learning. We promote close relationships with families and share the education of their children.

- Grow our own fruit, vegetables and herbs
- Accommodate all dietary requirements
- Practise food safety
- Work with families from a range of cultural backgrounds to ensure cultural foods meet food standard requirements
- Run a weekly lunch cooking program.

Safe environment
As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focusedon delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
