Early Childhood Teacher

Jodie
Hi, I’m Jodie and I’m the Early Childhood Teacher at Swifts Creek Early Learning Service. I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies. I’ve been educating the children of Swifts Creek for over 10 years and have worked in early learning for 20 years. My passion and love for this service and community inspires me to continue caring for our future generation. I’m an advocate for children and extend that into providing them with the best outcomes. Our team educates the children with healthy eating and physical activities. Seeing the children exploring through play and hands-on experiments, and the excitement on their faces as they learn, lets you know you’re making a difference in their lives. It is a privilege to be a part of the Swifts Creek Kindergarten and being a part of the children’s learning journey.
Health and wellbeing

Mental health
Our educators are trained in various programs to support the mental health of your child and are skilled in working with children who have experienced challenges and trauma. We also offer mental health support for families if you find yourself in need of assistance.

Nutrition
- Grow our own fruit, vegetables and herbs
- Teach food safety
- Educate children and families about nutrition and healthy eating
- Participate in a community health and wellbeing program called Smiles 4 Miles, which teaches good oral health and healthy eating habits.

Safe environment
As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focused on delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
