Our before and after school program provides learning and leisure activities for local children, taking the pressure off busy families who need additional school-based care.

Located at Eastside Lutheran College, our service gives your child more time with their peers.

We provide experiences to help your child get in touch with the outdoors and nurture an understanding and love for the environment.

We provide a culturally safe and inclusive environment and provide translation and other support services where needed.

Service Leader

Mary

As the service leader at Eastside I enjoy discovering something new every day. What makes me passionate about early learning is the children and the learning journeys they are on. Children have a way of including you in their successes that you can’t help but feel amazed by.

At Eastside all the educators are on a journey with the children. We are constantly learning alongside them and encouraging them to continue their individual learning journeys in a safe and inclusive environment. We treat this as not just a job but a privilege and look forward to each new experience that comes our way. A love of children and their imaginations is inside every one of us and we understand that this enriching experience is a responsibility that we take very seriously.

We look forward to welcoming you to our service.

Health and wellbeing

Mental health

We work closely with Uniting staff trained in children’s trauma. We also work with Kindergarten Inclusion Support and Safe Child Support services. We also offer mental health support for families if you find yourself in need of assistance. Educators provide both environments and programs that support children’s positive mental health and selfcare.

Nutrition

We provide nutritious food, full of flavour and made from fresh ingredients. We accommodate all dietary requirements. To encourage healthy bodies and minds, we:

Safe environment

As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focused on delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
