Service Leader

Libby

Hi, I’m Libby and I’m the Service Leader at St Luke’s After School Care in Shepparton. I’ve had multiple roles in the sector over many years – everything from a trainee to a centre director. I have two amazing children, so I have experience as a parent and as an educator.

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and am currently studying my Bachelor of Education.

I have always been a passionate believer that children learn and grow at the pace that is right for them. Early learning helps each child to explore and build on skills that will help them with later learning. As a lifetime learner myself, I take a lot of pride in my role and being able to help children progress on their individual journeys and all the excitement along the way.

I approach my role with an open mind, being adaptable, resilient and respectful in my relationships not only with families, but the children as well. I am a child led educator and am most inspired by letting children take risks and really explore who they are, how they are feeling, what they enjoy and want to learn about.

At St. Luke’s, we’re always striving to be better at what we do, and to hold inclusive and respectful interactions with our community. We understand that your children deserve a safe, welcoming environment to learn and play in.

The team and I look forward to welcoming you to our service.

We also offer mental health support for families if you find yourself in need of assistance. Educators provide both environments and programs that support children’s positive mental health and selfcare.

Nutrition

We provide nutritious food, full of flavour and made from fresh ingredients. We accommodate all dietary requirements. To encourage healthy bodies and minds, we:

Safe environment

As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focused on delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
