Hi, I’m Claire and I’m the Team Leader at Uniting Family Day Care – Gippsland. I’ve been part of the FDC team for 5 years and have over twenty years of experience in early learning. I hold a Diploma of Community Services – Children’s Services and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Sociology.

I’m passionate about early learning because I get to watch children discover, grow and learn while building relationships and connections with others. It’s a real privilege to observe a child’s confidence grow.

Hi, my name is Jess and Im the Team Leader at Uniting Family Day Care Tasmania.

I have over 12 years experience in the Early Childhood sector and hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and regularly partake in professional development opportunities to keep my knowledge up to date.

My passion for early learning stems from the connections made with children and their families to help guide and support children as they develop. I love being an advocate for children and their rights and wellbeing, while teaching them skills to develop enough confidence to continue with this as they get older.

Hi, I’m Donna and I’m the Team Leader at Uniting Family Day Care Wimmera. I’ve worked in the Early Years sector since 2004, in various roles in childcare centres, kindergarten and Family Day Care. I have a Diploma in Community Services (Children’s Services).

I’m constantly amazed at just how intelligent children are. I enjoy stepping into a child’s world to discover how they absorb information. It’s a privilege to be alongside children as their unique personalities emerge and their identities form in a learning environment.

Our Family Day Care Educators put the needs of children and families first and develop authentic, longlasting relationships. They offer nurturing, flexible, and inclusive education and care in a small group size and comfortable home environment.

4 Year Old Kindergarten Teacher

Hi, I’m Fiona, the Acting Centre Director and 4-year-old Kindergarten Teacher at Yea Uniting Early Learning. I’ve worked in early learning for 25 years and have been the 4-year-old teacher at Yea for 10 years. During this time, I have seen our service grow and develop into the thriving hub it is today.

I have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and am currently studying my Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science.

I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in the lives of the children and families that I support.

At Yea, we value community and build strong relationships with our children and families. We provide children and families with a service that we would be happy to send our own children to, and work hard to ensure that we are continually evolving the program so that we can continue to grow and develop while meeting changing community needs.
