Our kindergarten is located at the Melton Uniting Church, behind the Melton Valley Golf Club and a short walk from Melton Primary School.

We offer a creative kinder program, led by educators who are focussed on nurturing your child’s strengths, interests and social connections.

We teach values that reflect our small local community, including kindness, resilience and teamwork.

Kindergarten Teacher

Renee

Hi, I’m Renee and I’m the Nominated Supervisor and a Kindergarten Teacher at Melton Uniting Kindergarten. I have worked with Uniting for the past nine years at several of our services across Melbourne’s north west as a teacher and Nominated Supervisor.

I have a Post Graduate Degree in Education (Early Years) and a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Human Resource Management and Communications.

As a mother of two children, I understand the importance of my role. I feel I have the very real opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children by building strong, connected and respectful relationships with each child and their family.

Our amazing educators work tirelessly to create a safe and welcoming environment that provides endless opportunities for children to engage and explore, create, develop trust, friendships and a sense of belonging.

Health and wellbeing

Mental health

Our educators are trained in various programs to support the emotional wellbeing of your child and are skilled in working with children who have experienced challenges and trauma. We also offer mental health support for families if you find yourself in need of assistance.

Nutrition

We help children form healthy eating habits. We do this by encouraging them to take an active role in their food preparation through tending to our vegetable, fruit and herb garden. At our kinder, we:

Safe environment

As a child safe organisation, our educators undergo regular working with children’s and police checks. We are focussed on delivering learning and development in a safe and supportive environment, so you can trust that your child is in good hands.
